Salim Khan: 'Salman Khan won't celebrate if Shah Rukh Khan's film becomes a hit'

Veteran writer Salim Khan , whose son Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan recently buried the hatchet at an Eid party, spoke about how stars nowadays lack the courtesy that rival actors had back in the day. At the trailer launch event of Sholay 3D, when asked about the rivalry between Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, Salim said, “It is not the case that Salman will celebrate if Shah Rukh Khan's film becomes a hit and nor will SRK throw a party if Salman's film becomes a hit. Nowadays, the younger lot is much more intolerant and impatient.” Former rivals Salman and Shah Rukh Khan had worked in Karan Arjun and the King Khan recently claimed that he has no issues about working with Salman once more.

Rakesh, Hrithik And Priyanka To Join 200 Crore Club

It was mentioned in this column last week that milestone of 200 crore being achieved by Krrish 3 seemed doubtful. However, with the film scoring stunningly high during the weekdays and creating one record after another, a double century is now a cakewalk. In fact now the next huge target is for the film to cross the 225 crore milestone of Chennai Express which seems in sight, considering over 165 crore that the film has already netted in Week One. These are indeed marvellous results for a film and especially its genre which was always a risk to begin with. Moreover, Rakesh Roshan has further re-established his supremacy as the only filmmaker from the 80s who has continued to change with times while keeping Indian emotions intact. With Krrish 3, he can pretty much wear the crown of 'Showman' on his head and the only filmmaker to have managed such terrific record critically as well as commercially. For someone who started his career as a director with Khudgarz (1987) 26 years a...

Saif Ali Khan Claims 'Bullett Raja' Is Not As Entertaining As 'Dabangg'

Ever since the trailer of Saif Ali Khan 's upcoming film Bullett Raja has been unveiled, the film has been drawing comparisons with Salman Khan 's Dabangg for its North Indian flavor and massy dialogues. However, in an interview, when asked if Bullett Raja would be Saif's Dabangg, the Nawab said that it is unfair to compareBullett Raja with Dabangg as the Salman starrer was a more larger-than-life entertainer whereas Bullett Raja is an entertaining version of an UP gangster movie. Directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, Bullett Raja also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Jimmy Sheirgill, Vidyut Jammwal, Gulshan Grover, Chunkey Pandey and other actors.
