Los Angeles: Actor Ashton Kutcher will star as Steve Jobs in the movie ‘Jobs’. The independent movie is being produced and financed by Five Star Institute`s Mark Hulme. Director Joshua Michael Stern is set to begin the movie in May, while Kutcher is on break from CBS sitcom `Two and a Half Men`, reports a website.
The film will chronicle Jobs` meteoric rise from a northern California hippie to the co-founder of Apple. Sony snapped up the film rights from writer Walter Isaacson`s authorized biography of Jobs that was published within weeks of his death Oct 5 last year.
Opening across theatres on 5th April 2012 in India, the film’s 3D release is a commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic and pays a special tribute to the tragedy that took place in 1912. With Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet in the main lead, ‘Titanic’ first released in 1997 and is one of the greatest love stories of all time, winning 11 Oscars that year.
