Samsung Galaxy S3

FOR

  • Excellent battery life
  • Superb screen
  • Quad core speed
  • Top media management

AGAINST

  • Subjective design
  • S Voice not optimised

The Galaxy S3 handset is available in pebble blue and marble white, and we filmed a white S3. The former has a nice brushed finish while the latter a glossy sheen. Both look nice but we prefer the blue option. Despite the overwhelming use of plastic, the Galaxy S3 feels well made. The Galaxy S3 is a pretty big smartphone, with a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED screen which has an HD resolution of 720 x 1280.

Samsung Galaxy S3, the Super AMOLED technology means colours are bright and punchy while blacks are very black. The Galaxy S3 screen is stunning and comparable in quality to the one found on the HTC One X. It has a high pixel density of 306ppi where individual pixels are not distinguishable offering astonishing levels of detail. Viewing angles are very good; we found reflections in the screen more of a problem.
Like most modern smartphones the Galaxy S3 comes with dual cameras. The rear facing one is rated at 8Mp and has an LED flash while the front camera is a 1.9Mp shooter which can record HD video at 30fps. It runs Android version 4.0.4 coupled with Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface overlay. Samsung has fitted the phone with a whopping 7.9Wh battery promising rival beating battery life.

'Bullett Raja' Is A Flop

Bullett Raja has flopped at the box office. After taking a barely average start at the box office, the film didn't show much of a growth over the weekend. The weekdays saw further dip in collections, hence making it crystal clear that neither was audience much excited about stepping in while those who eventually did weren't quite enthusiastic in sharing positive word of mouth. Eventually, it turned out to be a 'thanda' affair at the box office with just about 35 crore coming at the end of first week. Now these are the kind of collections that should have ideally been accumulated by the film over the weekend! The verdict was more or less out soon after the film released and as a result the promotional effort too came to a standstill. Saif, who doesn't believe in over-promoting a film when the writing is clear on the wall, went silent. Sonakshi moved on to R... Rajkumar. Jimmy was busy with shooting of his films and Tigmanshu wasn't heard much either. As a result...
