Ata Pata Lapata Review Verdict
Like the tag line mentions, this movie is a chaotic musical, which tends to get on your nerves

Ata Pata Lapata Review Story Plot
Manav Chaturvedi (Rajpal Yadav) is a lawyer staying in the fictional town of Izzat Nagar. The officer in charge of the case of Satya Prakash (Ashutosh Rana), a bumbling cop, who doesn't seem to get anything right.

The only way to find out is by watching the movie…

Ata Pata Lapata Review Performances
The one thing that the movie can boast of is a massive cast of character actors from Vijay Raaz to Vikram Gokhale to Govind Namdeo to Asrani to Yashpal Sharma to Zakir Hussain. However, with so many actors in the movie, no single person gets enough screen time (except for Yadav, of course)

Ata Pata Lapata Review Direction
Rajpal Yadav might be a talented actor, which he has proved in movies such as Shool or Jungle, but as a director, Yadav fumbles the ball and how! Though the plot, a musical, which aims at taking potshots at the corrupt system, the execution is not impressive at all. There is nothing as such to arrest your attention and the songs, which suddenly crop up in the middle of a situation, also ensure your irritation.

Ata Pata Lapata Review Last Word

You might be impressed with Rajpal Yadav as an actor, but do not for a minute think that Yadav has brought the same talents to the direction table.
