Sony Alpha NEX-6

First Impressions: Sony Alpha NEX-6Sony had been neglecting the Indian photography enthusiast for a while now, but looks like that has all changed. Sony has officially pulled all the stops and announced the Sony Alpha NEX-6’s availability in
India (apart from five other cameras). We got a lot of hands on time with Sony’s latest mirrorless offering and it is one impressive little thing.
Packing in a 16 megapixel APS-C sized sensor inside an extremely slim metal body, the Alpha NEX-6 builds upon the lineage of the NEX-3 and NEX-5, the only two mirrorless cameras from Sony that entered the Indian market.
The NEX-6 packs in a hybrid AF system that allows for DSLR like AF tracking while shooting off 10 frames per second. We didn’t get to try out the burst mode with respect to moving targets, but we did spend a lot of time shooting the flower arrangements and models Sony had arranged to be available as subjects.

At first glance, the Sony NEX-6 is a little different from both the NEX-5R and the NEX-7 with respect to the layout of some buttons and dials. The menus are identical to the other NEX cameras, so if you’ve used one before, it would be a breeze getting the hang of the NEX-6. We weren’t able to shoot the camera in RAW mode, but the JPEGS out of the camera look absolutely beautiful. The camera itself is very light, which can be great if you’re using a small lens, but if you decide to stick a larger lens on it, then the whole combination has a tendency to become a little front heavy.

'Bullett Raja' Is A Flop

Bullett Raja has flopped at the box office. After taking a barely average start at the box office, the film didn't show much of a growth over the weekend. The weekdays saw further dip in collections, hence making it crystal clear that neither was audience much excited about stepping in while those who eventually did weren't quite enthusiastic in sharing positive word of mouth. Eventually, it turned out to be a 'thanda' affair at the box office with just about 35 crore coming at the end of first week. Now these are the kind of collections that should have ideally been accumulated by the film over the weekend! The verdict was more or less out soon after the film released and as a result the promotional effort too came to a standstill. Saif, who doesn't believe in over-promoting a film when the writing is clear on the wall, went silent. Sonakshi moved on to R... Rajkumar. Jimmy was busy with shooting of his films and Tigmanshu wasn't heard much either. As a result...
