Sony Xperia T gets unexpected Jelly Bean update
The Vietnamese Sony community, SonyViet, reported this. According to the details they have posted, the update does bring in improved battery life and a smoother UI experience with Project Butter.
Just to refresh your memory,
the Xperia T is the same phone that Daniel Craig used in the latest James Bond flick, Skyfall. It is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and initially came out of the box with the Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS. The phone has a 4.55-inch display with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, and 16GB built-in storage with external storage expandable up to 32GB.
Android Jelly Bean update already. This update has been rolled out globally, as well as for the Xperia T phones locked on the AT&T network. It is reported that the phone is now running Android 4.1.2 version.
