Micromax A116 Canvas HD

The Micromax Canvas HD, famous for being the first budget quad-core smartphone in the Indian market, is a pretty well-built phablet. It has a distinctly glossy plastic body that manages not to look too cheap, with a slightly pearlescent finish, unlike the more matte finish on the Canvas 2 A110.
The Canvas HD is quite slim as well, measuring in at 10.7mm in thickness. Though heavier, larger and thicker, it’s comparable in form factor (and other ways) with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Both also bear 1280x720 pixel displays, though the Canvas HD has an IPS LCS display, and the Nexus a SAMOLED PenTile display.

In contrast with the rest of the specs sheet, and in complete tune with the Indian budget Android phone market, the Micromax A116 Canvas HD sports dual full-sized SIM slots, with space for a memory card, and a 2,000 mAh battery.
We’ve tried to capture every nook and cranny of the Canvas HD in the below images, along with our observations. Scroll for a tour of the device. We’ve got more images on the next page as well. The scores of the many benchmarks we ran on the Canvas HD can be seen here, comparing it to budget devices in the same price segment, as well as flagship quad-core devices.

Interview Question: Why Did You Leave Your Job?

By asking this question the interviewer is trying to (a) see if you will fit in, (b) see whether you will stay at the company for a suitable period of time, (c) determine if you are worth the company’s investment and (d) find out if there is anything wrong with you. To answer this question, deal with the interviewer’s needs and state your reasons for leaving in a positive context. Potential answer: If you were laid off, show you were just one of many. I joined the company because it was a startup and I would get a lot of opportunities to take on more responsibility quickly. Unfortunately, the rapid shift in the economy left us under-capitalized to properly market what ultimately will be a great product. Ultimately, for the survival of the company, management needed to reduce costs by eliminating the support team of which I was a key member. If you were fired, show that you had a different approach than management. I am a firm believer that all customers deserve the highest ...
