Mickey Virus Movie Review-In Short
A lazy computer hacker is hired by a cop to crack a case involving the cyber-world and millions of rupees.

Mickey Virus Movie Review-Verdict
Though the second half has been stretched to an extent, the movie is a fun watch overall with doses of good humour and hilarious dialogues

Mickey Virus Movie Review-Story Plot
Lazy computer hacker Mickey (Manish Paul) doesn’t believe in work and spends his days coming up with computer viruses and dreaming about Kung-Fu Chameli, an animation figure/virus that he has created and fallen in love with.

When Mickey is approached by ACP Siddhanth (Manish Choudhary) and Bhalla (Varun Badola) to crack a case, that has already claimed the lives of two international hackers, Mickey though initially reluctant, agrees to help them.

Things get complicated when Mickey meets Kamayani (Elli Avram), who resembles the animation virus that he fantasizes about and when Mickey decides to use his cyber skills to help her out of a jam, he finds himself in a bigger mess.

Will the maverick Mickey manage to crack the case and save the day and his own neck?

Mickey Virus Movie Review-Performances
Considering the film is Manish Paul’s acting debut on the silver screen, he has done a good job and has displayed admirable confidence and an easy charm. Elli Avram looks hot enough but that’s about it. Manish Choudhary as the cop and the rest of the cast has done a decent job too, but the one actor to watch out for is Varun Badola, who simply wins you over with his Dilli ka thulla act. Badola has got some of the best one-liners in the film and his Bhalla-ji remains the most memorable character in the film.

Mickey Virus Movie Review-Direction
First-time director Saurabh Varma comes up with a film that is urbane, youthful and whacky. Varma gets credit for making a film about hacking and yet keeping things simple enough (read: non-technical). The humour is goofy and light-hearted, the dialogues are fun and the characters are entertaining. Where Varma goofs up is in the second half of the film as the story gets somewhat predictable and seems stretched for no reason. However, all said and done, Mickey Virus is not a bad watch, if you are willing to forgive the stretched last half hour.

Mickey Virus Movie Review-Final Word
Despite its few flaws, Mickey Virus is a fun flick.
