Ali Zafar Crowned As Sexiest Asian Man Beat others

Ali Zafar is going places, well, literally. While he is gearing up for the release of Total Siyapaa, he is also shooting for Kill Dil. Meanwhile, he has also been crowned as Numero Uno in Eastern Eye newspaper’s list of the 50 Sexiest Asian Men In The World. In the process, he went on to beat Hrithik Roshan into the second place while also shrugging past many other notable celebrities from India.

"To beat actors of the likes of Shahid Kapoor, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Shah Rukh Khan, Jay Sean and Varun Dhawan amongst others is indeed something," says a source, "Still, Ali has managed to do that. This was courtesy sheer volume of votes that he received from different continents. As someone who has made his presence felt right from the days of Tere Bin Laden to Chashme Baddoor, Ali is arguably the biggest global celebrity Pakistan has right now."

No wonder, Ali Zafar was taken aback by the win. He said, "I am very flattered and never expected to be given this title. I still don't know how I made it onto this list, let alone top it. However, from the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank all those who voted for me."

Says Eastern Eye showbiz editor Asjad Nazir, "As a composer, musician and actor, Ali is also one of the most talented. He has cracked Bollywood and there will be very little to stop him from making a significant mark in the West.”

Fingers crossed!

'Bullett Raja' Is A Flop

Bullett Raja has flopped at the box office. After taking a barely average start at the box office, the film didn't show much of a growth over the weekend. The weekdays saw further dip in collections, hence making it crystal clear that neither was audience much excited about stepping in while those who eventually did weren't quite enthusiastic in sharing positive word of mouth. Eventually, it turned out to be a 'thanda' affair at the box office with just about 35 crore coming at the end of first week. Now these are the kind of collections that should have ideally been accumulated by the film over the weekend! The verdict was more or less out soon after the film released and as a result the promotional effort too came to a standstill. Saif, who doesn't believe in over-promoting a film when the writing is clear on the wall, went silent. Sonakshi moved on to R... Rajkumar. Jimmy was busy with shooting of his films and Tigmanshu wasn't heard much either. As a result...
